Hunting trips create meaningful time outdoors, shared challenges and the kind of natural downtime where conversation and camaraderie can develop.
Fishing experiences offer space to relax, laugh, talk and reconnect while enjoying some of the best outdoor settings around the country.
Wapiti is expanding beyond hunting and fishing to include activities such as hiking and biking, creating more ways to serve more Warriors.
Each Wapiti experience is built around bringing Combat Veterans together in an environment where conversation, shared purpose and genuine connection can happen naturally. The outdoor activity creates the setting, but the relationships formed during the experience are the reason Wapiti exists.
Trips are made possible through a network of volunteers, landowners, outfitters, guides, fishing captains, businesses, sponsors and individual donors. Depending on the experience, Wapiti support can help cover costs such as travel, lodging, meals, outdoor access and other trip expenses so participating Warriors can focus on the experience and the people around them.
As the foundation grows, Wapiti is working to build trusted partnerships in more states so that more Combat Veterans can take part in meaningful hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation experiences.
Wapiti's long-term goal is to partner with trusted people and organizations around the country who can host experiences under the Wapiti name, with Wapiti helping provide funding and support.
